A former musical theatre major and recent grown-up, I’ve made the decision to pursue my life coaching certification after taking lots of self-assessment tests, an NYU Career Change Workshop, and quizzing everyone I know as to what-the-heck-I-should-do-with-my-life (and no, Mom, I’m not going to be a Cantor). After a lot of years job-hopping (I’m starting my 7th in 4 years!), I’m so excited to know that at the end of this road will be a career that I can be passionate about - and along the way I’ll meet lots of diverse, inspiring, supportive people to help me live my dreams (that’s youse guys!).
Part of the reason that I’m writing this blog is to fulfill my requirement to graduate from the International Coach Academy, and part of it is to learn how to blog for my future coaching business. But the biggest reason that I’m starting this blog (right after my first ICA class) - and that I named it Get Off Your Tuchus (a reminder for me more than anything) - is that I’m so excited to start this journey. While I’m very nervous to share it with others (it’s makes me so vulnerable! it’s so private!), I know that journaling will help me have many more thunderbolt realizations than if I just read the class handouts and took my own notes. I also know that I learn best in a group setting, and if I kept my journal to myself I wouldn’t be able to have anyone else share their thoughts on my thoughts - and what if someone who had a thought on my thought leads me to have an even bigger, better thought? That’s a wonderful thought.

I just love your energy! I am sure you will enjoy the ICA training journey. You will discover a lot of great things about yourself while learning how to coach and get your business up and running.
